Carolina has over 12 years of experience in driving talent management initiatives across Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa. Prior to starting her entrepreneurial journey, Carolina was the Head of Human Resources Middle East, Global Talent Acquisition and Managing Director of Odebrecht (a Engineering & Construction conglomerate) Austria. Prior to the stint at Odebrecht, Carolina led the implementation of various HR Projects at AB-Inbev (world’s largest brewer) in China and at their global headquarters in Belgium.

Carolina’s experience spans across various aspects of HR Management: Global Talent Acquisition; Talent Management Systems (SAP and Oracle) implementation; Learning and Development; Employee Engagement; Compensation and Benefits; Performance Evaluation and post M&A culture integration (various integration projects in AB-Inbev) among others. This enables her to work with the executive management teams to determine strategic HR requirements as well as lead regional or local teams in implementing solutions.

Passionate about learning and technology, Carolina founded Proftrack, a unique recommendation website to help users identify online courses, classroom programs, meet-ups and books that fit their learning needs. Proftrack is one of the few companies that graduated from Founder Institute, a silicon valley based accelerator program. She has also founded My Career and Child a community aimed to help career ambitious and passionate women navigate their careers in the early stages of parenthood. In parallel, Carolina manages a Talent Management consultancy and Coaching practice based out of Frankfurt.

Carolina holds a degree in Business Administration and speaks fluently English, Chinese Mandarin as well conversational German and Portuguese. Carolina has worked and lived for extended periods of time in China, Singapore, US, Portugal, UAE, Libya, Liberia, Mozambique, Brazil, Belgium, Austria, Germany and travelled to dozens of other countries on leisure.
