Expert, Working Environments
Andrew invented the Organisational Modelling technique, this methodology, the measurement of the virtual organisation, has become the focus of the practice’s philosophical and professional development ever since.
Chadwick’s philosophy is based on considering people and space as one -- seeing all working spaces as having the same structure, infrastructure and ethos as organisations. By designing the working space following this belief and in harmony with the governing principles of its occupier, the results are highly effective
Andrew is a graduate of Cambridge University School of Architecture.
One of Andrew’s most recent clients is The Salvation Army. He played a key role in their move to 101 Queen Victoria Street, in London, their international headquarters. In addition to determining the space required, which effectively resulted in a free building, and writing the design brief Andrew has also played a major role in designing the interiors. The building has won a number of awards.
