Labeed  Hamid is president and chairman of the board of Middle East Management Centre (MEMC), a company established in 1980 to serve the business community in the Middle East by helping organizations manage change and maximize their investment in people.
 
MEMC works in partnership with their clients to design and deliver human resource solutions in talent management, succession and career management, executive development, and performance management systems. MEMC has offices in Brussels, Istanbul and Dubai.
 
MEMC clients span wide sectors including financial institutions, oil and chemical industries, telecom, government, and pharmaceuticals all around the Middle East and Turkey.
 
Prior to establishing MEMC, Labeed worked for Management Centre Europe in Brussels  as Head of Management Programs Division and was later appointed Vice President/Middle East of the American Management Association (AMA) one of the largest training organisations in the world.
 
After obtaining His Bachelors and Masters Degrees from California State University in Los Angeles he pursued post-graduate studies at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. After finishing his studies Labeed returned to his city of birth Baghdad and started his career working for the United Nations (ILO) Management Development Centre in Iraq.
 
Labeed devoted his career to the development of the emerging generation of managers and leaders in the Middle East. He is a regular contributor to seminars and conferences. He is a founding member of Future Work Forum.
