Richard, who is based in Brussels, established himself as an independent Human Resource consultant in 2004. His primary areas of focus draw on his thirteen years of experience as Head of European HR for ACNielsen and Quaker Oats and his twenty plus years of experience of ‘sitting at the top table’: assisting companies to determine and implement effective European organisations; working with HR and business leaders to develop innovative HR strategies to deliver enhanced business results and also assisting companies deliver ‘world-class’ client service – although he says that he is often called on for a wide range of HR related projects. He is also a ‘pro bono’ coach for people experiencing problems at work. A conference speaker, Richard was Chairman of the Richmond Events European and UK HR Forum in May 2004, which was attended by over six hundred HR professionals.
