Based in Monmouth, Wales

Mark Thomas is a global business consultant, author and speaker specializing in leadership, organisation development and human resource management. With a natural curiosity, Mark is an enthusiastic student of organisations, and his consulting work has taken him around the globe to cities such as Sydney, Dayton, Luanda, Reykjavik, Moscow and Port Louis. Having observed so many “hyped” organisational initiatives and fads come and go, Mark is fascinated by the future world of work and the shape of organisations to come.

Having witnessed the best and worst of leadership and organisations, Mark is a passionate advocate of organisations that enable individuals to connect and flourish through value creation. Always keen to highlight the dysfunctionality of organisations, Mark is a strong advocate of promoting powerful conversations that speak truth to power. To that end he has worked with many global support functions to develop their internal consulting skills capabilities.

Prior to establishing Performance Dynamics Management Consultants, Mark spent several years with Price Waterhouse Management Consultants in London. At PW he advised private and public sector clients on business and organizational change issues arising out of privatisations, restructuring programmes and mergers and acquisitions.

A highly accomplished facilitator, Mark regularly designs and facilitates a wide range of business planning and organisation change initiatives. In addition, he manages several executive leadership, coaching and internal consulting programmes. Mark has also chaired and participated in several major business and HR conferences in Athens, Brussels, Istanbul, Lisbon, London, Paris and Vienna. He is also the author of several books on management.

Mark’s early corporate career included a series of organisation development and human resource executive roles with the US, NCR Corporation and UK, Unigate Group.

Based in Monmouth, Wales, Mark works across the globe – having worked with over 100 major multi-national and global corporations in over 45 different countries.

A graduate of the University of Wales and the London School of Economics, Mark is a Fellow of the UK Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has been an Adjuct Professor at the Tias School for Business and Society in Holland. He has also been a faculty member of several corporate universities, and has worked with organisations such as the American Management Association (AMA), the UK Institute of Directors, Management Centre Europe (MCE) and the Middle East Management Centre.
